Egypt’s Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) has launched the second edition of its African App Launchpad competition, which will award a total of US$72,000 to startups from across the continent.

Applications are open until November 22, 2020.

EasyEquities, has emerged the winner of the ninth annual edition of the MTN Business App.

The app took the 5th spot in the Best Consumer Solution category and led across 15 different categories.

The Standard Chartered Women in Technology Incubator Kenya has opened for applications.

The theme for this year is ‘’Accelerating the Digital Economy through Women-Owned Businesses’’.

Five women owned tech startups will be selected as the top finalists to receive about 9,000 dollars in funding and a 12 week incubation programme.
