In 2021, climate tech startups in Africa raised a mere $440m in disclosed funding, compared to $2.4bn for fintech and African climate tech startups receive just 0.2% of venture dollars compared with their counterparts in the United States, Canada, China, and Europe.

The Technical Coordinator, World Meteorological Organization, Africa Office, Abubakr Salih Babiker, in this episode shares his expert thoughts on what is next for Climate Tech in Africa.
